Duncan Area Economic Development Foundation
One of the keys to success for DAEDF has been its ability to develop relationships with state and local agencies and to use these relationships to benefit existing and new business.

For industry looking to expand, DAEDF can help locate and finance the renovation, acquisition, or construction of buildings. For large industries, DAEDF facilitates everything from gaining building permits, to negotiating tax incentives, to acting as general contractors during construction of sites. For example, when Family Dollar agreed to locate a large, regional distribution facility in Duncan, DAEDF was able to get the 907,000-square foot facility constructed and operational within months from the date an agreement was signed.

Duncan competes with thousands of communities nationwide for each business it attracts and financial incentives are a key component of any site selection package or business expansion. Through a combination of state and local sources, the Foundation is able to offer substantial assistance to qualifying businesses. The Foundation provides a free incentive analysis for each prospective business. This service makes it easier for site selectors to evaluate costs and speeds up the decision making process.
