The City of Duncan has an approximate population of 23,500, 160,000 within a 35 minute radius and 258,500 within a 45 minute radius.

Duncan has a long history of supplying industry with the best workers available, and the workers in our area are ready to work for a reputable company with a strong track record. Through the joint efforts of the Duncan Area Economic Development Foundation and the Red River Technology and Business Center, the Duncan area is home to a dedicated, skilled workforce. By utilizing the Training for Industry Program (TIP), qualifying businesses can be provided with customized, no cost training programs. These programs can include but are not limited to job fairs, pre-employment screening, and industry specific training.

Duncan is also home to a campus of Cameron University (CU), with a wide variety of degree programs available on site. A Workforce Development program is also available through the Association of South Central Oklahoma Governments (ASCOG) located in Duncan, with an excellent labor force availability within a 45 mile radius. This program works in conjunction with the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission.

Oklahoma is a right to work state, and Duncan has no union affiliation at this time.
