Business and Industry Survey

The Business and Industry Survey is conducted every other year with participating businesses in the Stephens County area. This project is sponsored by the Duncan Area Economic Development Foundation with assistance from the Red River Technology Center.

The project is intended to survey local businesses to determine the economic development needs of all of Stephens County. The objective of the survey is five-fold:

To identify the needs and wants of local businesses & industry.
To learn the future plans of the communities' companies with respect to relocation, expansion and retention.
To identify common sources for new materials used by various companies within our community.
To identify common markets for goods and services produced within our community.
To identify labor force requirements and area wage scale.
